About The Position

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent.
• A bachelor's degree in one of the listed fields and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with course selection and educational planning.
• Provide career counseling and vocational information to students.
• Offer personal counseling for interpersonal issues and psychological difficulties.
• Administer and interpret career assessment tools.
• Instruct Personal Development courses and develop curriculum.
• Participate in outreach to local high schools and community events.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops for students.
• Participate in District shared governance and program development.
