About The Position

In this position, you work with our group health plan contracting team to draft and negotiate complex contracts, prepare legal memoranda, and contribute to major legal initiatives that impact our organization. Experience with group health plan contracts or extensive drafting and negotiation of other types of complex contracts is highly preferred. Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution
- Must be a member of the TN bar, or licensed in another state and become a member of the TN bar as required by the state bar.
- 5 years - Private practice or in-house legal department experience required
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational and research skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret and translate complex concepts into information meaningful to business personnel.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks involving critical deadlines with little or no supervision as well as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience with group health plan contracts or extensive drafting and negotiation of other types of complex contracts is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and guidance to business leaders throughout the Enterprise, including advising on legal considerations and risks affecting business initiatives and operations.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional business relationships with internal and external clients.
- Assists and supports more senior attorneys with management of legal matters and projects.
- Draft and revise legal documents, including contracts and legal memoranda.
