Requirements

• 7+ years of litigation experience in insurance/defense or personal injury REQUIRED
• Juris Doctor degree REQUIRED
• Admission to the California Bar REQUIRED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts
• Experience in civil litigation preferred
• Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in California

Responsibilities

• Researching laws and preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
• Rendering opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department
• Preparing and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Defending assigned matters through trial or dispositive hearing
