The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced attorney to join our team as Counsel, Construction & Insurance Law. As a vital member of the Risk Management team, the Counsel, Construction & Insurance Law will provide legal and risk management expertise to support AGC members, with a focus on construction contracts (including leading AGC's work on ConsensusDocs development and revisions), insurance, and other risk financing tools. The Counsel will also support AGC's litigation and advocacy initiatives in areas of construction and insurance law, as well as co-lead AGC's flagship Surety Bonding & Construction Risk Management Conference and related peer meetings and develop best practice resources. The position reports to the General Counsel and works closely with other AGC departments, outside counsel, and member committees.
