About The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Counsel for the Complex Subpoena and Garnishment Team of the Risk, Intellectual Property and Litigation Division of the Legal Department. The individual selected will join a team of Legal Order Processing attorneys responsible for handling complex subpoena and garnishment matters impacting Wells Fargo Bank and the Enterprise. These matters include complex civil and criminal subpoenas, federal and state grand jury subpoenas, administrative agency subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and subpoenas served by state regulators/AGs. The team also handles third-party requests for data preservation and other third-party orders requiring Wells Fargo to produce documents or witness testimony. The Counsel will be responsible for managing economic, reputational, and regulatory risks. Additionally, this role may oversee dispute resolution involving Wells Fargo's third-party contractors and vendors.
