About The Position
The position involves teaching district approved curriculum maps based on the Indiana State Standards. The teacher is responsible for organizing and presenting daily lesson plans that reflect instructional best practices as outlined in school improvement plans or professional development initiatives. The role requires the development of lesson plans and instructional materials that provide developmentally age-appropriate experiences and promote student engagement. The teacher will also provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student and will be expected to meet the 'effective' or 'highly effective' rating as it relates to the SCS Teacher Evaluation.
