As a Cottonseed QA Technician at Rangam Consultants Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of cottonseed through a variety of laboratory and plant activities. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to step into a dynamic role that involves testing fuzzy, processed, and carryover cottonseed. You will assist the QC Lab Supervisor in conducting essential tests that include Moisture, Temperature, Free Fatty Acid, and Genetic Purity, among others. Your work will require precision and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, ensuring that all tests are performed accurately and consistently. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area while strictly following safe work practices. You will also handle lab chemicals safely and operate various industrial equipment, such as hydraulic presses and seed dryers. The position requires you to work in both laboratory and plant environments, which will necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cross-training in the Plant QA Lab.
