As a Dining Service Cook, you will prepare and cook family-style meals and snacks for residents and sometimes employees and family members at our nursing facility. You will be responsible for cooking foodstuffs in quantities according to the menu and number of persons to be served, washing dishes, baking breads and pastries, cutting meat, and may serve meals. You will plan menus or follow menu plans taking advantage of foods in season and local availability, and may order supplies and keep records and accounts. You will also cook for person-centered care facilities where food is cooked at resident's request, and have an understanding of nutrition-based meals.
