About The Position

LTC Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide hands-on, resident-centered occupational therapy at a leading skilled nursing facility. Your Daily Impact: Carry out personalized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists, guiding residents in rebuilding skills for self-care, dressing, grooming, eating, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). Lead practical, engaging sessions using adaptive equipment, fine motor exercises, cognitive strategies, and compensatory techniques to enhance function, safety, and confidence. Track and document resident progress, report observations to the supervising OT, educate residents and families on techniques and tools for home success, and adapt activities to meet individual needs; all while fostering positive, empowering relationships.
