About The Position
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, provide feedback on patient performance, and enhance the therapeutic environment. This role requires knowledge of patient care appropriate to various age groups and the ability to assess and interpret patient data to meet their specific needs. The COTA may work in various settings, including rehabilitation and acute care, and is expected to demonstrate competency in physical tasks and documentation within the Electronic Medical Record.
