About The Position

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, performs direct patient treatments in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance patients' performance; facilitates the learning of those skills and functions to achieve the therapy.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required.
• Associate Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working in acute care and/or inpatient rehab setting required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in selected rehabilitation procedures.
• Supervises Rehab Aides.
• Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.
