About The Position

Kidzoola Therapy Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our beautiful, collaborative, therapist-owned pediatric clinic in Missoula, Montana. We believe kids learn best when they’re happy, engaged, and intrinsically motivated, and we bring that philosophy to every session. Therapy at Kidzoola looks like play, but is grounded in evidence-based practice, thoughtful planning, and strong relationships with caregivers. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates for this role. Part-time hours are ideally after school, while full-time hours offer a broader daytime schedule. Requirements

  • Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Montana (or ability to obtain)
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program
  • Pediatric experience required
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete within 90 days)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for relationship-based, child-led therapy

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric OT treatment sessions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Implement treatment plans and goals established by the supervising OT
  • Deliver engaging, play-based therapy in clinic and via teletherapy, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary teammates
  • Complete documentation clearly and promptly (daily notes, treatment notes)
  • Participate in team meetings and supervision, as scheduled
  • Engage in ongoing professional development
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
