About The Position

Seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the Kansas City area. Our therapy team helps restore the day-to-day lives of our clients, providing personalized care with commitment and care. Availability: PRN Pay Per Visit Responsibilities Provides occupational therapy services to patients in the home environment according to the Physician's plan of care and under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Engages in communication and case conference activities to ensure continuity and quality of care. Demonstrates sound judgement and technical skills to perform assigned therapies and procedures according to established protocols. Maintains compliance with the Agency Code of Ethics. Adheres to agency standards, policies, state and Federal regulations, and payer requirements. Practices safety, environmental, and infection control measures. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Requirements

  • COTA Certification for the state of Missouri
  • Ability to pass drug test, background check, and physical examination
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Home Health experience is preferred but not mandatory
