About The Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis to provide services in the Wooster area. The COTA will work with patients in their homes, assisting them in improving their daily living and work skills. This position offers a flexible PRN schedule in the Wooster area, allowing you to make a positive impact on patients' lives in the comfort of their own homes. #INDWS

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a home health setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify patient needs and goals
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to help patients improve their functional abilities
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for continued improvement
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
