The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients prescribed by the physician and under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum.
One-year of experience in home health setting preferred, or successful completion of a clinical fieldwork experience.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant currently licensed to practice occupational therapy in North Carolina.
Maintain current CPR certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that will meet their expectations. Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors.
Assists office with achieving positive patient outcomes.
Prepares and maintains appropriate clinical and administrative records in a prompt and comprehensive manner.
Maintains regular communication with supervisor/staff.
Stays abreast of overall patient care and improves occupational therapy skills.
Demonstrates a willingness to be cost effective.
Adheres to 3HC's personnel policy.
