About The Position

Our RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy outpatient center is seeking a licensed COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) to provide quality patient care. Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
• State COTA license (or license eligible)
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
• Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
• Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies.
• Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills.
