Requirements

  • Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant education program accredited by ACOTE
  • NBCOT certified with current licensure to practice in state of operation
  • 1+ year COTA experience
  • Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Home health experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing evaluation of patient’s functional status
  • Teach and/or retrain patient’s skills in daily activities
  • Provide instruction to patient’s family/caregiver on treatment regimen
  • Follow treatment program and goals for improved patient function as advised by the Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Maintain appropriate clinical records and submit documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
