About the position
CAMP is a Family Experience Company that helps answer the question, 'What should we do today?' through a unique combination of retail, media, and entertainment. Launched in 2018, CAMP operates retail locations in Atlanta, Illinois, California, Massachusetts, New York, Texas and Virginia and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms. We are looking for Costumed Mascot Performers to perform the role of Elephant or Piggie for Meet and Greets at CAMP!
Responsibilities
- Perform as Piggie or Gerald the Elephant during Meet and Greets.
- Communicate with the public through body language and gestures.
- Maintain animation and movement at all times while in costume.
- Handle the mascot costume with care to avoid damage.
- Be aware of surroundings and prioritize the safety of guests and team.
- Act in a friendly and funny manner with both adults and children.
Requirements
- For Piggie: Must be between 5'3" and 5'5" with an average build and reasonable stamina & strength.
- For Gerald the Elephant: Must be between 5'7" and 5'10" with an average build and reasonable stamina & strength.
- Must be skilled at movement and dance.
- Must wear a bodysuit underneath the costume and a full headpiece.
- Must never speak in costume.
- Must not eat, drink, or smoke while in costume.
- Must not sign autographs or gesture toward products.
Benefits
- Pay Rate: $22.00 hourly
- Duration of Role: May 30th - June 7th
