About The Position
This position involves driving for Costco, a regional based account delivering round trip loads from Costco's Distribution Centers to the Delivery centers within each regional market using a mix of swing & roll door trailers. The job requires high service, just in time deliveries, based on delivery schedules set by the Costco group. Deliveries will mainly occur Monday through Friday and will include a mix of day and night driving. Weekly home time is available on weekends, with the potential for multiple home-time pass throughs throughout the week based on the scheduled freight mix. Drivers will average 3 loads and roughly 2250 miles per week, with loads being mostly consistent from week to week and drivers running similar lanes weekly. This DDC will service delivery locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado.
