The position involves preparing cost analyses and optimizing costs and value for products and tools throughout the supply chain processes. This role requires collaboration with sales and purchasing organizations to ensure effective cost management. The candidate will be responsible for creating cost estimates during the request for quote (RFQ) processes and conducting systematic cost optimization analyses. Additionally, the role includes driving supply chain-specific value and cost optimization programs both internally and with suppliers. The candidate will also provide expertise in negotiations for Supplier Management or Category Management and will be expected to prepare and deliver training sessions, including cost structure analyses and design-to-cost workshops.
