Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • 1 year of previous relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict, business dealings and the ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge of world class manufacturing, engineering, and/or project management
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.

  • Graduate Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost (break down) analyzes and cost/value optimization for products and tools in stages of supply chain processes in cooperation with sales and purchasing organization units.
  • Create costing within the request for quote (RFQ) processes and provide systematic cost optimization analyses for products.
  • Drive supply chain specific value and cost optimization programs, internally and with suppliers.
  • Provide expertise in negotiations for Supplier Management or Category Management respectively.
  • Prepare trainings and give active support, e.g. cost structure analyses and in design-to-cost workshops.
