About The Position

About this Role Onsite Monday-Friday, with 15% domestic travel. At QISG, we don’t just deliver projects—we deliver complex EPC solutions that power industries and connect communities. As a Cost Specialist , you’ll play a critical role in transforming data into insights that keep our projects on track, on budget, and built for long-term success. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and impact—working on high-profile projects from kickoff through completion.

Requirements

  • 1-6 years in cost management and project controls.
  • Expertise in forecasting, cost control, change management, and risk analysis.
  • Convert complex financials into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proficient in JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel, Power BI.
  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Willing to travel up to 15% domestically.
  • Full-time, onsite position in Columbus, Ohio

Responsibilities

  • Own the numbers – Track, analyze, and forecast costs, budgets, and financial trends across multi-year EPC projects.
  • Be a strategic partner – Work closely with Project Managers, Operations Directors, and technical leaders to align financials with project goals.
  • Manage change with confidence – Oversee cost changes, deviations, and risks to anticipate challenges before they become issues.
  • Tell the story – Deliver clear, compelling cost reports and dashboards in Power BI (or similar) for clients and leadership.
  • Strengthen controls – Support Project Controls Execution Plans and ensure compliance with company standards from day one.
  • Make your mark – Serve as the go-to resource for cost insights on high-impact EPC projects.
