About The Position

At QISG, we deliver complex utility and renewable energy projects that power critical infrastructure across the country. As an experienced Cost Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance across high-impact energy projects—turning data into insights that keep projects on time, on budget, and ahead of risk. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced project environment where their work directly influences project success.

Requirements

3–7 years of experience in cost controls, project controls, or financial project analysis within construction or EPC environments
Strong background in cost forecasting, change management, and risk analysis
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Proficiency in JDE and/or EcoSys, Procore, Excel, and Power BI
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically

Responsibilities

Track, analyze, and forecast project costs and budgets across multi-year EPC projects using JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel, and Power BI
Partner with Project Managers and Operations leaders to align financial performance with project objectives
Monitor cost trends, changes, and risks, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
Develop clear, data-driven reports and dashboards for leadership and clients
Support Project Controls Execution Plans and ensure adherence to company standards
Serve as a key resource for cost visibility and financial insights across active projects
