We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Manager to support Energy and Industrial Projects in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. The role is hybrid or remote, with sporadic travel to the Project Site. About Us AtkinsRéalis is one of the world's most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies.   • Collaborates with the Client, Project Manager and other stakeholders to develop the project's Cost Management Plan.
  • Develops of the WBS and List of Control Account.
  • Develops of the Project Budget.
  • Works with the estimating team and other stakeholders to fill scope gaps in the project budget.
  • Works with the Owner / Client to determine adequate Project Contingency and Management Reserve to be included in the Budget.
  • Documents the Project's Cost Baseline, including the basis of estimates and assumptions made when developing the budget.
  • Develops project cash flow and expenditure curves.
  • Works with contractors and vendors to set up Schedule of Values (SOV) for all contracts.
  • Reviews contractor's and vendor's invoices for accuracy and compliance with the contract requirements.
  • Works with the accounting department to set up project numbers and ensure proper cost allocation of commitments and actual costs.
  • Reviews contractors and vendors change order proposals for accuracy and cost reasonableness and seeks proper approvals from the Owner.
  • Prepares custom project cost reports summarizing Budget, Actual Cost, and Forecast.
  • Identifies variances and works with the Project Team to develop Corrective Actions when needed.
  • Prepares cost related documentation needed to comply with Federal or Local grant requirements.
  • Prepared cost related documentation needed to comply with 3rd party project monitoring, when application.
  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as Project Engineer, Cost Manager, Cost Analyst or similar role within the construction Industry.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management Information system (PMIS) such as Procore, ACC or similar.
  • Experience working with ERP applications such as Deltek, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Experience in Data Analytics, Power BI, Excel or other tools.
  • Cost Estimating experience is desired but not required.
  • AACE or PMI Certification is desired but not required.
