About The Position
COST / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Worcester Our client focusses on the cultivation, packing and exporting of table grapes and citrus and has a vacancy for a Cost / Management Accountant. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for accurate costing for farming and packing operations Perform cost analysis and reporting for farming and packing operations Monitor and analyse inventory variances, production inefficiencies and wastage Product costing and inventory reporting and maintenance Management of inventory Collaborate with the production and finance teams to develop and implement cost control measures Support the budgeting process and financial planning Daily and weekly productivity reporting Assist with implementation of new systems General support to the financial manager REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, SAIPA, SAICA) preferred. Proven 2 – 3 years’ experience in cost and management accounting, preferably in the agriculture or farming sector. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven 2 – 3 years’ experience in cost and management accounting, preferably in the agriculture or farming sector.
