About The Position

The Service Operations Estimator supports the After Sales and Service department by preparing accurate service estimates, coordinating field service activities, and assisting with operational planning and scheduling. This role ensures timely communication with customers and accurate tracking of service-related costs and data.

Requirements

  • Reports directly to the Service and Cruise Line Account Manager.
  • Regular, full-time position requiring a minimum in-office schedule of 40 hours per week; occasional travel may be required.
  • Must demonstrate confidentiality, integrity, dependability, and cooperation.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • Must pass a background check, physical (if applicable), and drug screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or comparable work experience considered.
  • Proficiency in English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition, with strong communication skills in speaking, listening, reading comprehension, and writing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimates, reports, and documentation.
  • Analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability to evaluate cost efficiency and improve processes.
  • Ability to apply logical judgment and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers by email, phone, or in person to provide information, process orders, and respond to inquiries or complaints.
  • Prepare quotes and provide information as requested, ensuring management review and approval when required.
  • Calculate and compare costs of services for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with the order shipment process, including order entry, packing, tracking, and verification of deliveries.
  • Monitor and maintain logs for Service Technician tools and accountability records.
  • Maintain data accuracy in information systems or databases related to service operations.
  • Think creatively and strategically to organize, plan, and prioritize work activities effectively.
  • Perform administrative duties such as documenting, processing, and recording data accurately.
