Requirements

Strong written, verbal communication and organizational skills
One to three years of construction industry experience, preferably with commercial construction
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite and Smartsheet preferred
Bachelor’s degree, in construction, engineering, or architecture preferred; or 2 years of applicable construction trade experience in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

Prior working experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or other industry related take-off software is a plus

Responsibilities

Aid with administrative tasks as needed, primarily a combination of data entry, updating of project deliverable dates and bid tracking within Smartsheets, which involves outreach and client interaction.
Perform quantity take-off in a manner and level of detail consistent with the project goals and support the team.
Input estimate data into the appropriate software
Provide a detailed review of all documentation and assist with development of comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate the client’s project and strategic goals.
Assure that a quality product is presented to the client through adherence to the company’s QA/QC procedures.
Assist in the creation of cost estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development, as part of the internal team.
Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project’s goals (verbal, written, and graphics)
Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining the accuracy of cost information.
Desire to learn, grow, and advance their skills in estimating and various other project controls.
