About The Position

As LCRA continues to grow there is a critical need to understand how much we expect projects to cost, which in turn informs our near-term and long-term financial needs. By placing a focus on how cost estimates are developed and how this overall process is coordinated, we can be proactive as the organization scales up its capital plan workload. Coupled with other recent improvements in the estimating area, establishing a core group to assist with the management of this function will yield improved forecasts of spend, improved visibility, an additional control point, and support of regulatory needs. TCE also serves as a conduit to provide vital feedback to other departments and stakeholders to drive process improvements, and ultimately improve project cost estimate accuracy and timeliness. You will be trusted to: - Import data from other department’s deliverables into our ever-expanding databases. - Perform data analysis using: Excel, PowerBI, Oracle Data Visualization. - Recommend new and improved practices and procedures related to assigned area.
