The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost engineering or project controls, preferably on large-scale water infrastructure or reservoir projects in the NYC metropolitan area.
Strong knowledge of construction cost estimating principles, cost control methodologies, and earned value management.
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Primavera Cost Manager, EcoSys, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
Familiarity with public-sector capital project processes, procurement procedures, and reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for all phases of the work.
Track project expenditures, analyze cost trends, and prepare variance reports to identify potential overruns or savings opportunities.
Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, and engineers to align cost data with project schedules and progress.
Review contractor proposals, change orders, and invoices to ensure compliance with contractual and budgetary requirements.
Prepare monthly and quarterly cost reports for internal stakeholders and client representatives.
Assist in risk assessment and cost control strategies to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
Maintain comprehensive cost records in accordance with client and company procedures.
