Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Several years of professional experience; prior manufacturing engineering experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, component production, and assembly.
• Proven ability to calculate and analyze component costs.
• Exceptional analytical skills, initiative, and assertiveness combined with team spirit.
• Independent, structured work style with a high degree of reliability.

Nice To Haves

• prior manufacturing engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cost analysis focused on suppliers and market trends to guide procurement decisions.
• Implement target costing strategies for new product development (NPD) and ongoing projects.
• Lead benchmarking studies and market assessments to identify competitive advantages.
• Support integration of new technologies into sourcing strategies.
• Drive cross-functional cost optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Champion the Design-to-Cost approach to optimize product costs.
• Conduct supplier visits to uncover and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare insightful reports and presentations for stakeholders.
