We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking a Cost Engineer for an immediate opportunity at our Honolulu, HI . The Cost Engineer reports to the Change Order - Estimating Manager and responsibilities include assisting and providing the documentation as below: Identify Change Orders with client’s Contract Services Unit. Assist in scoping of Field Condition Change Orders. Produce Engineer’s Estimates for Field Condition Change Orders. Assemble Contract Change Request packages for scope approval. Issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) via client EPMIS system. Produce independent estimates for non-field condition Change Orders to check validity of Engineer-of-Record produced Engineer’s Estimates. Reviews contractor’s estimates. Act as the lead in the negotiation of Change Orders. Package negotiation documents. Respond to auditor questions/comments. Update change order logs as process steps take place. Attend monthly internal change order update meetings and monthly change order update meetings with Contractor(s). Other assignments as determined & directed by the Change Order Manager / Estimating Manager.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or comparable degree +4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
