About The Position

We are seeking a detail oriented Cost Control Clerk to support our client's Projector Cost Control team. This role is ideal for someone pursuing or recently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field. You will work closely with their Customs Agent, Purchasing team, and internal stakeholders to manage, analyze, and improve large datasets tied to imported materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong database management and data analysis skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working with large datasets.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain an extensive database received from our Customs Agent, including tariffs, part numbers, pricing, and related data.
• Classify and categorize tariff information according to customer Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with the Purchasing team to perform similar classification for non-direct imports.
• Collect and organize supporting documentation such as invoices, customs forms, and import records.
• Assist with a project aimed at improving material database handling and data integrity.
• Analyze high volume monthly transactions and extract meaningful insights to support cost control efforts
