About The Position

We are seeking a Cost Analyst to support project financial management by tracking costs, analyzing budgets, forecasting expenses, and providing actionable financial insights. This role will work closely with project managers, operations, and accounting teams to ensure projects remain on budget and financial goals are met.

Requirements

• Experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting in industrial, construction, or fabrication environments.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working onsite in an industrial/fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
• Track project costs, including labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead.
• Analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs; provide reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess financial performance and adjust budgets as needed.
• Support month-end financial reporting and project cost reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing forecasts for upcoming projects, identifying potential cost risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of cost tracking and forecasting processes.
• Support process improvements for budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
