Cost Analyst HunaTek is seeking highly motivated, performance-driven individuals with strong cost analysis experience to work on-site with our government client in the Central Florida Research Park area. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills. Essential Job Functions: The Cost Analyst position will include, but not be limited to, the following capabilities: Perform the full range of cost analyses in evaluation of client programs, to include life cycle cost estimates (LCCE), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and ad hoc cost studies. Develop Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs). Support program office estimate activities. Support, update, and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for estimating program costs. Develop, update, manipulate, and maintain cost and affordability models. Support efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data. Build and defend budget requirements. Assist in forecasting future funding needs. Evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action. Conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities. Identify sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions. Identify interface maintenance funding requirements for all affected platforms/systems. Support solution delivery to a baselined schedule. Provide a basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program/project funding requirements. Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals. Support in the preparation of briefing materials and other communications packages presenting the results of analysis. Communicate and work with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection, analysis, and results presentation. Demonstrate an understanding of the customer mission and innovative ideas to address business challenges of the customer.

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with uncertainty/risk software packages.
  • Knowledge of the Government Acquisition Programs.
  • Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and work with large data sets.
  • Possession of excellent data gathering and analytical skills.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business).
  • Five to eight years’ experience performing cost analyses, financial management, and acquisition experience for DoD, intelligence, or civil agency programs.
  • Prior experience supporting Government Acquisition Programs.
  • Proficiency with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Crystal Ball or SEER for IT.
  • Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA®) or Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA®) certification.
  • Prior experience in Navy/Marine Corps sector is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Programs (ACAT I-IV).
  • Prior financial management and program management experience.
