About The Position

Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to support accurate product costing Review and reconcile inventory transactions, variances, and adjustments Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries and cost‑related account reconciliations Monitor standard costs and assist with updates as needed Prepare cost reports and provide insights to operations and management Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and related variance analysis Identify cost drivers and support continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to validate cost and inventory data Provide ad‑hoc cost analysis during the assignment period

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2–5 years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience
Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, and inventory accounting
Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (experience in manufacturing environments strongly preferred)
Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Available to work on‑site in Rockwall for the full 3‑month duration
