About The Position

Job Duties: • Participate on Close month procedure and yearly close acitivities • Inventory Analysis and Interpretation • Absorption Analysis and calculation • Provide month end cost variance analysis • Perform all related inventory journal entries • Inventory Account Reconciliation • Participate in Sales and Cost Forecast and Budget, (Volume, Sales, Material Cost, Labor & OH) • Determine annual labor rates and FOH rates by cost center • PPV analysis • New projects cost validation and implementation • Volume Price Mix Elaboration and Analysis • BOM audits and analysis • Perform Hourly and salary Payroll • Payroll Analysis including head count • Work with engineering department to determine head count • Audit and Compliance for Cost and Payroll activities • Other Ad-hoc reports • Scrap analysis • Validate projects from Continuous improvement departments • Other Activities associated with finance analysis Education and Experience: • Accounting degree • 3-5 years of experience, strongly preferred in manufacturing environment • 2 years working as cost accountant • Experience with account reconciliations • Ability to work with Mathematical concepts and financial information • Strong computer skills (Excel [Macros]/Word/Power Point) • Ability to pay attention to details • AS400/QAD hands on experience Preferably Skills: • Standard costing knowledge • Experience with account reconciliations • Ability to work with Mathematical concepts and financial information • Strong computer skills (Excel [Macros]/Word/Power Point) • Ability to pay attention to details • AS400/QAD hands on experience Preferably

Requirements

  • Accounting degree
  • 3-5 years of experience, strongly preferred in manufacturing environment
  • 2 years working as cost accountant
  • Experience with account reconciliations
  • Ability to work with Mathematical concepts and financial information
  • Strong computer skills (Excel [Macros]/Word/Power Point)
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Standard costing knowledge
