About The Position

Cost Accountant needed in Palm Beach Garden! This is a Monday to Friday role working 1 day from home and 4 days on site! A global leader in life sciences is seeking a Cost Accountant/Analyst to join their team. This role provides timely, accurate financial insights to support data-driven decision-making and optimize spending across support functions. The cost accountant will provide financial review and analytical support across designated business units or functional areas, playing a critical role in delivering timely, accurate financial insights to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including cost accounting.
Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management.

CMA is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary financial partner for operations, evaluating the cost impact of changes in manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to analyze inventory variances and develop strategies to meet financial targets.
Support monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis and performance reporting.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial projections.
Provide financial support for daily operations and ad hoc business initiatives.
Maintain and enhance financial systems used for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Support the evaluation and management of capital expenditure projects.
Prepare ad hoc reports and perform special assignments as needed.
