About The Position

Perform job duties associated with the Accounting functions to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial results and safeguarding of assets.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing cost accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field
• Must have the ability to analyze large data sets
• Strong understanding of cost methods
• Proficiency in MS Suites (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with and ability to work with physical inventory in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be team-oriented and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of corporate Cost Accounting methodology and procedures
• Oversight of periodic inventory counts and maintenance of inventory and controls
• Collaborate with the Production team to understand the full production process
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand the accurate bill of materials as well as in-depth knowledge of the full production process.
• Streamline inventory procedures and maintain consistent reports
• Analyze cost absorption and perform variance analysis monthly
• Interested in numbers, inventory control, transaction analysis, and journal entry
