Requirements

  • 3-5 years of commercial construction experience in project accounting or project controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret contract documents, work in progress reports, operating income statement, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet.
  • Knowledge of construction budgets, scheduling, and defined deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organization and multi-tasking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Penta is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly billing of all jobs (Internal and External ERP Systems).
  • Review and obtain all supplier lien waivers to match billing requirements.
  • Maintain approval process of Subcontractor Invoices to meet client billing deadlines as well as lien waiver confirmations.
  • Weekly and Monthly AR Review and Tracking
  • Maintain all applications of Cash Receipts daily and align payments to existing AR.
  • Review, analyze, and post, Change Work Awards, Change Orders, and Time and Material tickets into ERP System.
  • Monthly tracking review and payment of all taxes.
  • Perform all job start and job close out entries into ERP System.
  • Review, approve, code, and submit all Accounts Payables into ERP system.
  • Reconcile monthly company accounts of suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain month end processes, journal voucher entry, and key indicators for Denver Office.
  • Support Project Manager, Project Teams, Controller and Office Management with financial needs of the office as requested.
  • Attend and participate in all required company training.
  • Promote and support all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
