About The Position

We are seeking a self-starter Cost Accountant with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to join our team in the house manufacturing industry. This role is key in managing accurate cost data, supporting operational efficiency, and driving informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of house manufacturing processes
• Advanced Excel skills: intricate formulas, pivot tables; macros a plus
• Thrives under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• College degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Deacom ERP or similar systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) for existing houses
• Create BOMs for new house models
• Prepare and conduct monthly inventory counts
• Work within the Deacom ERP system to manage cost data
• Produce financial and operational reports for the Accounting team and General Manager as needed
• Analyze production costs and inventory valuations
• Assist with month-end close processes
