About The Position
The Plant Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of all costs, including production-related costs, cost of sales, and operating/overhead expenses. This role involves periodic reporting of operational metrics to plant and business unit management, data analysis, and identifying areas for process or cost improvement. Additional responsibilities include extracting data and creating reports, month-end closing journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations.
