Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field. Strong communication and technical skills; familiarity with CAS compliance (Cost accounting standards) a major plus.
  • 2-5 years cost accounting or relevant manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with planning, engineering, marketing and manufacturing groups.
  • Willingness to take on challenges with minimal oversight and drive value to the business. Eager to grow within the company.
  • Strong excel skills & an eye for process improvement and efficiency.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the cycle count program for SOX requirements
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency and profitability
  • Assist daily reviews of product cost & inventory along with monthly journal entries and quarterly & year-end reporting.
  • Create and prepare TINA Cost proposals and support yearly rate submissions for DCMA/DCAA
  • ASC606 revenue calculation and forecasting. Work with senior management, engineers and production staff to properly forecast ASC606 revenue for the month/year.
  • Quarterly prep of Business Unit presentations. Segregating labor/material overhead costs by each business unit. Analyzing costs compared to plan and developing bridges to explain material differences.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned
