Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Cost Accountant I based at our Berea, Kentucky Plant. Position Primary Purpose The primary functions of this position are the ongoing integrity of the monthly inventory, cost of sales, and standard cost for the Berea plant. Other responsibilities include product cost analysis, manufacturing variance analysis, preparation of various analyses for management decision making and serving on cross-functional project teams relating to cost and inventory. Requirements

Able to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communicator with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and accountability.
Analytical and methodical in approach to cost and inventory data.
Batchelor’s degree in Accounting.
Demonstrates strong computer literacy and advanced spreadsheet skills.
Three–five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Technical background in inventory and cost accounting methodologies.
Ability to review, analyze, and explain manufacturing variances.
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
