As a Cost Account Manager supporting production and Installation for the Fire Control Program working COLUMBIA/Dreadnought, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for managing financial performance and programmatic goals for teams supporting installation and test of Tactical and Training Equipment on submarines and shore facilities. In your efforts, you'll be responsible for coordinating with many teams internally and externally to determine solutions for your assigned efforts. Cost Account Manager responsibilities fall into several main categories. Some of the broad categories include: Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for assigned projects, overseeing the financial performance and ensuring alignment with project goals Develop and manage control account plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support project decision-making Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards Monitor project financial performance, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to stay within budget and schedule constraints Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and support project execution Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and government contracting regulations
