Join the Sylvain Melloul International Hair Academy (SMIHA) Team. SMIHA is a growing education leader guided by industry pioneers with over 80 years of experience in the beauty & wellness field. With the Sylvain Melloul curriculum, approach and teaching methods, partnered with L'Oreal Professionnel, our goal is beyond just educating students to pass the state licensing exam- our main focus is on training successful hairstylists. If you're a highly motivated, goal-oriented professional with at least two years experience as a VA licensed hairstylist and an instructors license; we want to hear from you! We're looking for a talented cosmetology educator with a passion for beauty, education, teaching and changing lives. What is my mission as an Educator at Sylvain Melloul? To provide students a motivating and inspiring learning experience throughout their education at SMIHA resulting in high graduation, licensure, and placement rates.

Requirements

• Two years experience as a licensed hairstylist
• VA instructors licensed
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills
• Leadership and role model capabilities
• Quick Learner with a strong cosmetology skill set
• Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and command a classroom
• Ability to maintain composure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Polished, professional image
• Responsible, punctual, ethical and a team player
