About The Position

At Drybar, the philosophy is to focus on blowouts exclusively, with no cuts or color. The company is seeking full-time and part-time Cosmetologists/Hair Stylists to join their team. The role offers flexible schedules, paid training, and competitive earnings ($21-$30+ per hour) comprised of guaranteed hourly wages, tips, and commissions, with unlimited earning potential. Full-time stylists require Saturday availability and offer higher base pay, commissions, and PTO, with both AM and PM shifts. Part-time stylists work Friday and Saturday only, with AM and PM shifts, ideal for balancing other commitments. Drybar also welcomes cosmetology students with 1,300 hours or more.

Requirements

• Current and valid Virginia cosmetology license (strongly preferred)
• Amazing hair styling and finishing skills
• Desire to provide exceptional service
• Strong communication skills
• Drive and motivation
• Ability to work with and be a part of a team
• Saturday availability (for Full-Time Stylists)
• Friday and Saturday availability (for Part-Time Stylists)
• 1,300 hours or more (for Cosmetology Students)

Responsibilities

• Provide amazing hair styling and finishing services, specifically blowouts
• Provide exceptional service to clients
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Potentially perform retail sales, braids, updos, extensions, and add-on services to earn commissions
