About The Position

Under general supervision, responsible for following CarMax standards for the removal of dents utilizing PDR, cosmetic wheel repairs, glass repair, and a variety of interior cosmetic repairs on vehicles during the reconditioning process. This includes, but is not limited to, fabric, vinyl, leather, plastic, and carpet, as well as dye/color-matching materials.

Requirements

• Accountable to Associate 1 Competency Model
• Successfully complete Workstation Certifications
• Read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records
• Required to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Lift objects that weigh as much as 50lbs
• Speak and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates, both in person and over the phone

Responsibilities

• Execute processes as defined by work instructions and/or standardized work
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities with team
• Participate in training of new associates with guidance of the Manager
• Perform complex interior repairs to meet CarMax used vehicle standards
• Perform Paintless Dent removal
• Perform cosmetic wheel repairs
• Perform glass repair
• Ensure that vehicles meet CarMax Standards
• Responsible for workplace cleanliness and organization in accordance with CarMax standards
• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
• Complete duties as assigned by Managers

Benefits

• Earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis
• Between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company
• Paid time for 6 scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday
• Holiday Premium Pay for working on a scheduled holiday
• Paid time away with no specified limit for full-time salaried associates subject to manager approval
