Requirements

• Knowledge of safety and environmental policies and practices, and willingness to develop related skills sets required.
• Maintain a valid State driver's license for light vehicles.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate light vehicles required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities required.
• Effective organizational and communication skills required.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety leadership and complete daily FLRA cards in compliance with MSHA and NGM protocols.
• Assist in receiving and staging core and RC drilling materials, including pallets, bins, and chip trays.
• Verify sample integrity against drill logs and cut sheets; identify and flag discrepancies.
• Conduct core and chip tray photography ensuring clarity, accuracy, and file management.
• Prepare and insert QAQC materials (standards, blanks, duplicates) according to project specifications.
• Label sample bags, QAQC packets, and shipping bins using approved methods and equipment.
• Conduct core density tests using site-approved sealant and digital scale system.
• Log weight data and verify sample results using Excel-based tracking tools.
• Assist with inventorying, organizing, and managing warehouse materials (pulps, rejects, chip trays).
• Support sample shipments to internal/external lab.
• Perform daily area inspections and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Participate in shared duties such as core cutting, chemical prep, rerun management, and ordering supplies.
