The opportunity: Primary job duties will include but not limited to safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas, production, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)
• Must have 1 - 3 years' related experience
• Must have the ability to write and read simple instructions
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Responsibilities

• Operate production system computer
• Operate/Adjust machine controls and computer
• Visually inspect finished product; advise team leader as needed for adjustments to improve/maintain quality
• Remove damaged/defective sheets from finished goods
• Lift/Carry pallets, corrugated sheets, and production supplies, up to 80 lbs.
• Maintain production logbook
• Execute machine clean up procedures as required
• Execute weekly machine start-up procedures as required
• Report machine problems to team leader, as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members in a very noisy work environment
• Operate wireless two-way radio set to communicate with team members
• Read and follow written and verbal job order instructions
• Think and act quickly in a fast-paced production environment
