A company that cares, Pratt Industries is looking for an experienced Corrugator professional with Supervisor experience to join our team! The Corrugator Superintendent is tasked with managing the corrugating department. They must work to maintain safety, quality, and efficient production.

Requirements

  • 5 years corrugated experience
  • 2 years in supervisory or managerial role
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of corrugated experience and at least 2 years in a Supervisory or Managerial role
  • Required to have a clamp truck license

Nice To Haves

  • BHS experience definitely preferred

Responsibilities

  • Superintendent is responsible for Corrugator Supervisors and Hourly Employees.
  • Oversee performance of shifts.
  • Communicate plant standards to staff.
  • Establish high morale throughout your staff by showing fairness, consistency, and an interest in employee problems.
  • Report to the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager any mechanical, scheduling, or personnel problems that may have significant effects on operations.
  • Oversee the proper training and manning of plant corrugator positions.
  • Oversee roll room and manage inventory.
  • Correct and maintain inventory on roll stock.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of machinery; coordinate maintenance work with a minimum of downtime.
  • Help with solutions to solve production problems.
  • Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, safety program, and good housekeeping.
  • Other responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conflict resolution; team building; coaching and leading employees to improve; addressing complaints and resolving problems; documentation; and setting an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.
